Live Oak Cafe - "Live music, good food, good times."
Naturally, there was a wait. But we sipped our coffee outside where the air was crisp and the sun was shinning just right. We sat down right in the middle of this small restaurant and right in front of the stage where a gentleman played the harp.
Mimosas and eggs benedict with a side of live music? Yes, please.
Helpful tip: Live Oak Cafe is closed Wednesdays. They are only open breakfast and lunch so be sure to make it on time!
We had planned on stopping for photos at a cemetery on the way out but failed at looking up cemetery hours ahead of time. By the time we finished eating, they were all closed.
In summary, I can't wait to go back. Aside from the great food, there is so much more culture and history left to explore. I want to create a list of things to do when I go back. What are your favorite things to do in New Orleans?
Sadly, this is my last trip of 2017 but stay tuned for my trip to Guatemala in January!
